Roof Central’s roofing services “Start at the top” and they believe that their services are the best available to Smithfield homeowners. They provide residential and commercial roofing services out of their Smithfield headquarters, including roof repair, roof restoration, roof cleaning, as well as gutter and solar services. The company works on all different roofs, including EPDM flat roofs, and more standard asphalt shingle roofs. Ready Roofing has over 100 Google reviews, and with a rating of 4.7 stars at the time of writing this, those who work with the company tend to have a pretty good experience doing so.
NKS Contracting serves homeowners in central North Carolina and has been since 2012. They install a few different kinds of roofing materials, including metal panels, architectural shingles, and flat roof adhesive systems. From its headquarters in Erwin, NKS does work in Dunn, Benson, Smithfield, and across central and eastern North Carolina. As far as the services they provide, they primarily install new roofs, but also provide repairs and maintenance to their customers in the area.
DLT Roofing has over 30 years of roofing experience serving their customers in the Smithfield area, as well as down to the coast near Jacksonville. The company specializes heavily in flat roofs especially for larger scale commercial and industrial settings, but they do offer services for residential properties. Replacement Cost Value (RCV): This means your insurance company will pay to replace your roof. You’ll first receive a check for the ACV of your roof before repairs are completed. They’ll hold back the amount they calculate that your roof has depreciated. This is called recoverable depreciation.
Recoverable Depreciation: This is the final check your insurance company will send you after you show proof that all the work has been completed. As stated earlier, this is the amount that your insurance company has determined that your roof has depreciated during its lifetime. If you don’t have the work done, they don’t have to pay you for the depreciated part of the claim.
Once you receive these checks, you can deposit them and pay for your repair or replacement with cash, check, credit card, or other payment methods accepted by your roofing contractor. While the insurance process can seem complicated, it should ultimately help you end up with a new roof that lasts for years to come.
